Is it Spring Yet?

Out here in Chicago-land, it's still chilly. Although that's typically great news, this year, I'm looking forward to warmer weather so that I can open up the house and air it out after suffering a terrible mold infestation all winter-long. I had heard mold was bad, but I had never had the pleasure of it's sickly scents until now. Gross. On to the news!

Kickstarter 3 is Live!

Beneath the Ghoul Lair is now live and taking pledges! Our goal is a conservative $3,500 and as of this writing, we're 6 hours into the campaign and already 1/3 of the way there!
The book is about 90-95% completed already. All that's left is a few illustrations and a cleaned-up layout and we're good to go to press. Nick and I did not want to have any major delays again so we waited to launch the new campaign until we were almost ready to print.
Beneath the Ghoul Lair has always been a favorite of ours over at Johnny Rook Games. While it seems like a very straightforward adventure, it contains a few changes of direction during play requiring the party to have to keep aware of what the real threat is all the time, assuming that they can even figure out what the threat is! This has always been a fun adventure to drop into any game or even played as a tournament-style one-shot.

Next up!

From our end, Beneath the Ghoul Lair is nearly complete, we only need to get in funding, get some drawings, and ship everything. It's mostly a waiting game now. So, looking ahead there are only two more of the reprint series to do. It looks like Of Hunger and Lies will probably be next on deck because it will be an easy one to revise and prep. Ghosts From the Dark Wood will likely be the last one of the reprint series because it will require a lot of re-work, similar to, but I hope not as much as Warrens of the Great Goblin Chief.

Besides all that, I'm still furiously working on [The New Game] (title still unannounced) that I hope will be at least close to ready by the time the reprint series ends. Here's to some crossed fingers!
Blowed up real good...
